Perfect. This is how they marry, her need for the unconventional, the need to be authentic, prevents the simplicity of their day from underscoring his being unable to afford more for her.

Thank you very much :D.

I really love the idea of them eloping - it seems so very them. The mischief aspect is perfect for Remus, and not doing what everyone else does would appeal to Tonks. I'm glad you liked it :).

Ohhh lovely lovely lovely! Just... wonderful. I'm sitting here grinning like a loon, but at the same time trying not to cry (I know, I'm a big softie).

You made it touching without ever slipping into cliche or schmaltz and the whole thing was just so them. I also loved the running motif of "the idea of forever".

I always love how your Remus is a bit of a Folkie, with his Real Ale and his Dreary Werewolf Music. ;)

Thank you very much :D.

I think with a name like Remus, you've got to be a bit of a folkie, haven't you? ;)

I'm pleased you liked this. I really wanted something that felt specifically them - and their whole relationship has been so, in a way, understated and simple, I really liked the idea of them just disappearing for a day and getting married.

Sigh. Sweet and wonderful and much as I imagined their wedding would be. No need for over the top festivities, gaudy bridesmaid dresses (something of which I am quite familiar with, unfortunately) or big cakes. That just isn't their style, regardless of Tonks' love of bright hairstyles. Loved the bit about her dad buying season tickets with her dowry.

Thank you very much :D.

I really liked the idea of them just running off and getting married - getting together for them must have been so complicated, it'd be nice to think that once they are, everything's very quiet and understated for them. Glad you liked it :D.

I loved the wedding and the way Remus proposed. So very simple and so very them. Why wait to get married, when it's taken Remus so long to come to his senses? I loved it!

Thank you very much :D.

It's nice to think that after all the drama of HBP year, once they're together everything will run a bit more smoothly for them. Glad you liked it :).

Do I still have hands solid enough to manage typing this? Because I swear, every bit of me has turned into mush :)

This was so romantic and so them. This is exactly how I pictured their wedding. No frills, no grand festivities... just the two of them.

I've been waiting quite long for your entry to show up :) And I gotta say... totally worth the wait :)

Lovely!

At some points, I did wonder if I was going to get anything written at all....

Thank you very much :D. I really liked the idea of writing something that was specifically them - something slightly unusual and personal. Glad you liked it :).
