I really loved the way you used two contrasting voices to really get the point across. I love that you showed Remus dealing with severe emotional pain, too, and not just Tonks.

Those lyrics are a great fit for your prompt and for this piece. I liked the two parallel perspectives on the break-up: Tonks is confused, which you've captured so well (This is what he's done to me. It's the why that I can’t understand.). Remus has done what he thinks he has to do, but then his sudden moment of doubt is the perfect way to end this. I also like the painful contrast between Tonks thinking she's already failed to show Remus how much she loves him, and Remus thinking he'll never have the chance to show Tonks his own love.
