First of all, I want to commend you on the amount of research you put in before writing this installment. It shows your commitment and dedication to your writing.
I'm glad to see Tonks and Remus resolving their break up here. Tonks' realizations of Remus' true intentions in keeping things from her is the pivotal moment in this story. And you've carried it out with your usual aplomb!
Kingsley, like Remus is good on the advice (though, of course Remus is par excellence on that score ;) ). There's some similarity between those two and it shows clearly here. Its not surprising that Kingsley has figured out the true nature of the relationship between Remus and Tonks.
I've said time and time again that you work very well with symbolism. The significance of the flowers and the runes on the bracelet are a wonderful piece of excellence on your part.
Also, Tonks insecurities surfacing during her trek in the woods, tempered by an annoying Hestia and a soothing Molly set the right balance for the story, especially when you're trying to bring out Tonks' first experiences with the Order when she's trying so hard to impress.
Can't wait to see if Remus is OK!

But I really do appreciate your always thoughtful comments and observations, and I'm delighted you're liking how this unfolds. I'm glad you like the reconciliation and Tonks' relationship with Kingsley -- he's a character I want to do a lot with because as I've gotten to know these characters better, I think it's so admirable that he and Tonks would be in the Order, because they really do risk so much to do it; she's a wonderful person, we know, but so must he be to circumvent the law in all the ways he does.
I'm so glad you liked the runes and flowers, too; the runes came to me out of the blue when I couldn't find gemstones I was totally satisfied with, though I can't remember now what thought took me to runes. You shall be seeing more of them. ;)
As for your wait to see if Remus will be okay...I'll hopefully get a new chapter up today. Fingers crossed the tweaking goes quickly.
Thank you again, very much. :)
