Tonks kicks tail (...literally) at the dojo! I like the way you've transplanted the Aurors to this martial arts context. And Remus is so adorable, being all gobsmacked, while Kingsley baiting Tonks is cute, too.

I love it that she didn't get distracted enough even by Remus to be put totally off her form, even if Kingsley did let her get that one kick in, lol.

LOL, I didn't want to make the Aurors just regular old cops, that seemed a little like taking the easy way out...And it took me ages to think of something cool enough for Kingsley to do. XD

Thank you, my dear. :)

OK, RE-reading this.

ON a 2nd read, I'm thinking Remus writes Wizard Detective fiction. No??

(You are to blame for my recent Dresden Files obsession, which I found after googling a quote about a horse...)

*innocent grin*

That might have been what I had in mind, though I know I didn't quite specify what he was writing...

*is terribly vague*

(You are to blame for my recent Dresden Files obsession, which I found after googling a quote about a horse...)

*cackles maniacally*

It's all part of my dastardly plan. ♥

Murphy has always reminded me of Tonks. An angry, tiny, feminista Tonks. And Harry D is just too legit to quit (I have in the works a crossover fic where he and Tonks fight Bellatrix Lestrange together, but I'm stretching it out until the next Dresden Files book is released)...

Thank you for reading, by the way! I really appreciate your reviews! You've made a long day of job hunting quite a bit better. :)

Actually, I just checked. It wasn't a quote about a horse. It was:

'Anyone who lets me ride their dinosaur can call me Carlos,'

Horse, dinosaur, same thing, right?

I've only finished the 1st 2 Dresden books. Trying to drag out the pleasure as long as possible.

'Anyone who lets me ride their dinosaur can call me Carlos,'

Ah, yes. The Zombie!Tyrannosaur reference from...one of those fics. XD

Horse, dinosaur, same thing, right?

Yes. Hardly any difference at all. ;D

I'm pretty much addicted to the Dresden Files, and am suffering withdrawals. XD

It gets even more intriguing! I liked Moody and Kingsley being fellow karate instructors. Sirius and the video games are killing me with laughter. Did you know this is my favorite type of story? The 'how they got together', lots of unresolved sexual tension, boy meets girl scenario. Once they are together I always kinda lose interest. So...I'm excited there are two more chapter to go! :)
