Okay -- I love this. It's got all your quirky humor (and I'm going to have to start quoting lines at you in a second), but it's also fun to see the characters and try to guess at who they are and what they're up to. I'm particularly intrigued by "the accident" and how it was that Sirius seemed to, but didn't really, mess up everyone's lives in this reality.

And here we go with just the tip of the iceberg of lines I thought were awesome:

A bus squealed to an air-brake halt

just before he caught the bus to wherever guys in trench coats go

he was a full-size shoulder devil without an angelic counterpart

Also, watching Remus and Sirius talk about both cousin Dora and the nameless bus-stop woman is fun...can't wait for the reveal on that one.

Oh I love this so much! What a daring idea, and you've pulled it off well! It took me a little while to get into without the familiar stuff but now I can't wait for more. And everyone's in character. This is a lot of fun! I could see this being a really long fic! I love unconventional settings for fanfic, why not get creative eh? :)

I loved this. I am totally digging the AU angle. I like nonmagical Remus, Tonks, Molly, and Sirius. Its fun to reimaging how all of the HP cannon would fit into this nomagical setting. I liked so many little details of the story. It was very clever that Sirius called Tonks to ask what type of men she prefers (his loaded descriptions were hilarious. spends his weekends smoking pot and lives out of his ‘87 Camaro OMG I died laughing.) This is a totally fascinating take on an old story and I am excited about reading it. I have been away from this fandom a long time because of ...well...boredom I guess, and I think your story is just what I need to get me excited about R/T again. I don't think I have time to read any more chapter tonight, but I am excited about the rest and can't wait to see how ninja Tonks comes into play! Great job so far.

Wasn't sure how I was going to feel about this with no magic and no werewolves, but....very intriguing so far!

I love Molly as the matchmaking coffee shop owner and Sirius playing video games! Oh, and the scary fan girls....wonder where you got that idea!? Shall be off to read the rest!
