Hee! I think there must have been something in the air about Remus finding comfort by the shore, lol. I really like the way you've made this beautiful place Remus's childhood home, and shown how he fits into the village and how the beach has been important at different stages of his life.

There are so many insightful ideas here about Remus's character and the nature of his relationship with Tonks; I especially liked He'd known then two things, that she was the love of his life and that it could not possibly end well (boy, does that represent the R/T relationship through HBP, lol), and Letting his friends back into his heart had opened it up to her, which really seems like what must have happened. Also the thought that it was Tonks turning away from him, finally, that made Remus realize he couldn't really let her go. And Tonks's insistence that her parents' reserve with Remus wasn't because of his condition.

I like the little Mad-Eye moments in here, too, like “take care of that silly girl.” Some of them could probably even be expanded into stories of their own!
