There certainly is an abundance of dream fics this Christmas, aren't there? Lol. Well, it was a very nice dream, it's a shame it didn't get to come true. Well done!

Is there? Lol. I haven't had a chance to read many of the other fics yet, so I had no idea.

I thought about writing it as if the dream were real (the other version I was referring to), but I decided this was the better route. It made me incredibly sad to write it only as a dream, but the other way would have made it an AU, which would have hurt just as much in way. At least this way, cannon Remus gets a taste of what it could have been like. Argh, no matter what way I look at it, it still makes me want to cry all over again.

I'd like to comment on the irony and awesomeness of your name. Well, more like that a Shoebox addict can still love R/T, because Shoebox is amazing, and when we can all get along it's lovely for everyone :).

Haha! That is so funny that you should mention that! I never even thought of the irony of it...yes, I am an avid fan of Shoebox and have read through it more than once and I just love it. But I also really enjoy everything about Remus/Tonks. I suppose it is quite odd but I may be one of the few people who seperate canon and fanon..I realize Remus/Sirius isn't real, it's delicious but it's not canon. I relish in Remus/Tonks, not only because it's canon but also because it's such a sweet relationship.

Anyways, that was an inordinately long reply to your comment, lolz. It is very lovely that we can all get along. =)

Oh no, Shoebox is amazing. It kills my brain after a bit- something about the writing is rather brain-killing and I can only read a bit at a time before being completely...... I dunno, drawn into this......... weird other world- but it's amazing. but that's good you can separate fanon from canon- alot of people CAN'T, and come up with the most silly and halirous reasons to justify therefor WHY Remus ended up with Tonks. I'm sure we've all heard them, but they're still *snort* worthy.

Oh don't worry, my reply back was inordinately long- I tend to be the one giving rants of comments to people- but I do love when we can all get along, because when people get all... defensive and EVIL... it's sad. I have a friend who's obsessed with Shoebox *who I haven't been able to get in contact with* and I'm dreadfully hoping she has a sense of humor about it, because if she does we could have SOOO much fun- but if she's all I HATE YOU HE'S GAY NAH NAH NAH NAH- well... that's no fun o_0.

I know, the justifications can get a bit out of hand and it's just like, shut up! Lol. People need to realize that while fanon is awesome and fun to read about, it is not that which JKR has declared, you know?

When people get all evil and defensive, that is when the internet fails. But when we can all get along no matter what our ship, then it is love. XP Haha, seriously, that would not be fun. I know, I run into a lot of people on the Shoebox end who cannot accept Remus/Tonks and it's really sad and hard to read their comments cause they're pretty mean sometimes. Oh well, we're all friends here!
