alright, so this weekend was pretty exciting, for better or worse. First off, we all went camping, but not before having a hell of a time convincing arik's mom to let hom come. we ended up just having zoe's brother talk to her (pretending to be a parent). and then when we were actually camping, it took us forever to get that damn fire going, but once it was going, it did pretty well. so finally when it was time to go to sleep, we just let it burn itself out, though arik smothered it a little bit. only arik, zoe and i actually slept in the tent, jae, tasia, and 2 slept in the car, cause they're gay.
then it started to rain.
and when it rained it poured, everything inside and out was soaked, we were cold and wet, and it was just miserable. so we all went moved into the car and drove into lakehead. it wasnt even really raining there, but oh well. arik and i decided to run home to get some stuff, so we did. we both had to sneak inside, arik crawled through his window, and i just walked through my front door, so it was easier for me. so then we went back to where everyone was, and we got a hotel room (after arik and jae went back to get all the stuff we left behind), and everything was pretty smooth from there on.
later on that night, arik, 2, and i went outside. first we went into this abandoned yard and arik stole a open/closed sign. while he went back to the room to put it away, 2 and i kept walking. then we saw a truck pull out of the shell station, pull back into the shell station, and pull out again, coming our way. so 2 and i ran up near the post office, and that damn truck pulled up into it, only it pointed its lights on us, flashed them a few times, then pulled out, drove into the drive way of the hotel we were staying at, pulled back out, then drove off. it was pretty scary. i think what added to the fear was that it was one of those trucks that are loud as fuck and dont look like they have been washed in a while. but yeah, that was pretty scary. anyway, thats about it, it was pretty cool though.
