I Enjoyed Watching Her Die

I know that I’ve been neglecting my sweet sweet LJ. Here’s a small taste of what happened on my day off in Santa Fe, NM.

The day started super early since I slept in the front lounge. Erin was up early as usual and soon after her, Tom, and I walked aimlessly around our hotel looking for a place to have breakfast. We walked through the mall and around a plaza with a target. We found only one option, the Flying Tortilla. It was good and I had like beans, rice, eggs, and potatoes in some kind of chili sauce.

During the wait, I was able to talk to my mommy on the phone and it was super awesome. She’s good, just chillin’. Her surgery is next Monday in the a.m. I’m anxious about it. I told her how I was in NM and to call Uncle Billy and Aunt Kay to see if they wanted to come see me. Ten minutes later, Uncle Billy hit me up and it was on.

Before they got there I settled some stuff with my boss online and discussed video ideas and content. It was cool. My boss is rad.

They arrived at about 2 p.m. with a woman named Brenda. OMG! It was so fun. Billy was doing fart jokes and being ridiculous. We ate Mexican and hung out in old Santa Fe today. The area is amazing. It’s touresty but expensive touristy. The furniture shops were up my ally-really aged oriental and Native American. The shops were great too--jewelry and all sorts of awesome clothing. To my surprise, there was a store called Maya. It was at that store where my Uncle and Aunt bought me a 75 dollar belt buckle. I’ll take a pic of it for you all to see. It’s made by some local artist.

At about 5 p.m. we waddled back to the car to go to Big Lots to birthday shop for Erin and to drop me off at the bus. Goodbyes were good, nothing sad. I was happy they saw me though.

Upon returning, I went to sonic and saw Die Hard 4 or whatever. It was awesome. To my surprise, the girl firned of the enemy who dies buy getting an SUV stuck up her ass in an elevator shaft was named Maya too.

Twice in one day. Coincidence, or fate? You be the judge.

Since I got back from the movie, I was  editing and rendering packages for FBR. It has been going well. I finally captured this 60 min tape of Cute and it’s looking to have at least three packages from it. My boss will be happy and he will pay lots for what I’m doing.

Melody, Kurt, and I played UNO a minute ago. It was intense and I won. Die.

(this was written a while back. I have heaps of posts that I need to get up. I'm actually in Maryland today. I've been editing and Nancy is coming to visit. This should be interesting.)
