I've forgotten how good the book Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card was.
VERY GOOD.
So, I've decided to put down my favorite books that people who have not read MUST read. And if you HAVE read any of them, comment and tell me what you thought and if they're one of your favorites.
- Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card (there is a parallel novel, but I haven't read it yet, I'll tell you in a few days how it is)
- The Golden Compass; The Subtle Knife; The Amber Spyglass by Philip Pullman (The His Dark Materials Trilogy)
- Sabriel; Lirael; Abhorsen by Garth Nix (A trilogy)
- A Wrinkle in Time; A Wind in the Door; A Swiftly Tilting Planet; Many Waters by Madeleine L'Engle (The Time Quartet)
- Acceptable Time by Madeleine L'Engle (a parallel novel to the Quartet)
- Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowling (do I really need to name them all?)
- Shade's Children by Garth Nix
- The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis (there are seven, not naming all of them)
- The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton
- That Was Then, This Is Now by S.E. Hinton
- Macbeth by Shakespeare
- Julius Caesar by Shakespeare
That's all I could think of right now. And yes, I know a lot of those are Fantasy or Sci-fi, and I know that most of them are under the teen age group, but they are really good.
And I hope that everyone has a happy, fun-filled holiday. *hugs to all*
