Kim is pressuring me to just post this already
Guys! Finals are finally finished and I'm done with classes for the summer! I am beyond happy about this. I've had enough philosophy of ethics to last me my entire fucking life, thank you very much.
Anyway, I'm a bit hyper from excessive caffeine and minimal food, so this is a silly post about my love of dollar stores. I went to the Dollar Tree the other day with my roommates to get some stuff for our apartment (re: last post - we are all moved in now, with furniture, but we still have no idea what's going on with rent. I don't even know, whatever). But seriously, I love dollar stores. Especially ones where you can get EVERYTHING from frozen foods to toilet scrubbers to Halloween costumes. For a DOLLAR.
I got these DR. PEPPER ice pops - 10 in a box! That's 10 cents a pop! And they're actually delicious and taste just like Dr. Pepper:

I also got a gift for bitter_crimson. I probably shouldn't say the gift was only a dollar, but oh well - KIM, YOUR GIFT WAS ONLY A DOLLAR. I haven't actually given it to Kim yet, so I'm COMPLETELY ruining the surprise (unless zie doesn't check my journal) but look:
A fucking DVD/CD!! Of Johnny Cash! For a DOLLAR! A while ago, Kim would listen to this live performance when we drove places together, so when I saw it I was like OMG KIM! and bought it.
I also got abunchofcrap a present. It's this Disney Princess puzzle thing. They came two to a pack, so I did one of them (don't worry, Lauren, I picked the less awesome princesses - you get Belle, Jasmine and Ariel).
I also got a crossword puzzle book, because I need to do SOMETHING in class when they start up again. I mean what else am I supposed to do, pay attention? Take notes? Ha!
Lastly, I bought these cute note cards. 10 per pack. That's 10 cents per card! It will cost me 4 times that just to mail them (even more if they're going international)! Oh, Dollar Tree. <3
So, I bought 20 cards and my finals are over and it's officially summer for me and I actually have time to write to people! So you guys should tell me if you want a card from me. Leave your addresses in the locked poll below.
Ok, but, I have no idea how long it will take for me to actually write these. Hopefully I'll have them done before September, but maybe not. So, if you're going to be somewhere new after summer ends, let me know.

And last, but definitely not least, wizened_cynic, who is awesome and my official stalkee wrote me a birthday fic (given early as a reward for finishing finals): this one time, on imdb which is AWESOME and hilarious and meta and makes fun of the internet, the CW, Law and Order all at once. Plus it has Alona Tal. And Sophia Bush, who I'm not as well acquainted with but who sounds so awesome I'm almost willing to watch One Tree Hill. Anyway, you should read it.
