Well... I didn't end up going to that wedding like I mentioned yesterday. Once more, having half my stuff in Chicago became a huge disadvantage. However, I'm lazy and so I'm going to post the entry I wrote yesterday... at least most of it.
I have nothing to talk about (once again) so I'm just going to listen to all (okay most) of the suggestions Kim makes.
1. Rewatching Sailor Moon and how it used to be our first fandom-
dragonnite55555 sent me the first season of Sailor Moon in a recent package and so I've been watching it again, after like 7 years. Rei is still my favorite, if only because she's been my favorite forever. She's meaner than I remember. And Ami is a lot cooler than I remember. But oh well. Sailor Moon was my first real fandom. It was Kim's too, because we got each other into it. I still remember all the fannish embarrassing stuff that I don't like admitting. (dressing up as Moonlight Knight, owning little bead keychain things of all the Senshi, reading really bad self-insertion fic and thinking it was amazing) Heh, it's kind of fun and nostalgic to watch all the episodes again.
2. How boring Crisis on Infinite Earths is - Kim is having me get into DC Comics, so she has a list of stuff I have to get through this summer. CoIE is first on that list, and wow, I can't get through it. I mean, it's not SUPER boring, I just don't like sitting down to read it. I want to go the more recent stuff. Boo :(
3. How House and Wilson should get together - Well, while I do think House and Wilson are pretty shippy on the show (I mean COME ON he erased the message! And that scene after Wilson moves out and he's talking to House about if they're okay.. yeah) but I don't think they should get together. I mean, that ruins the subtext.. and I live on subtext.
Okay, we're done, I think.
Bush - Mouth: I heard Gavin is in a new band. This is saddening. And while I really really wanted Gavin and Gwen to have babies when they first got together (because wow those kids would look nice) Gwen scares me now. I think they may have broken up.. er. Whatever.
