(no subject)
Holy freaking A. New layout. It's so spiffy! Look, I have friend's birthdays RIGHT THERE! *points to the right* I can buy Nidhi a gift. *contemplates* =P And all the links are right there, and wow. Friends page, LJ announcements, even my latest comments... all at mine FINGERTIPS. *is awed*
... anyway. Today I had my Physics midterm. Eh. And I got back my Orgo midterm. *sighs* School = depressing
But that's okay! NEW LJ LAYOUT!
I'm going to be working on Monday nights now too. So that's a total of 13.5 hours a week. At very low pay, but maybe I'll get a promotion after Christmas? Oh wellz. More work yay! I like work better than school. I should just work at the cafe for the rest of my life. I'm sure I'll get promoted enough after all those years to live comfortably. Especially if I find myself a nice graduate of this fine institution to mooch off the rest of my life.
The thing about work though is that now I have found the joy of Chai. I mean, my mom and dad drank it every day for far longer than I've been alive. But it was just so.. meh, when they drank it. But every time I work, like 20 people ask for Chai. So I was curious. Last week, when making it for someone, I made a little too much. So I decided, why not? I'll try it. ... SO GOOD. Last night I must have had like 30 oz of it. I made a small for myself and then "accidently" kept making too much for everyone and adding it into my cup. Mmm mmm good.
Add that to the rockstar I had around midnight, I think it's no surprise that I didn't get any sleep last night. I just didn't sleep. And I wasn't even studying either, I got bored of that. So I read comics. Like, Fray, which I just got in the mail yesterday. I liked it a lot!! I want more Fray! Also, I don't think I'll be napping today. I have Latin to do, then Latin class, then I'm probably just going to slum around online and go to bed around midnight. I'll have been up forEVER. Since I napped yesterday and got up around 5, I'll say about 30 hours without any sort of sleep. WOO.
I'm really hungry. Oh, I have to talk about how cool Lauren is and why. Lauren is awesome because of a lot of reasons. Primarily, because she's Lauren. Her taste in music and entertainment is superb; her sense of humor is unparalled; her personality is most appealing; her bod is hawt. And also, she talks to me! Through constantly talking to her, I was able to pick up wonderful habits such as saying "WTF?" in nearly every post/conversation I have. Also, I have a newfound appreciation for American Idol. Namely, Kelly and Clay. But more the Kelly. Because Clay is stupid and didn't pick her for meet and greet. WTF Clay? (<--- see??) Also, I like the way she smells. No, I haven't actually ever smelled her. So what?
Emily informed me that I had already done a post all about how much Lauren rocks, so I thought I should link to that too. Because that was an entire post about how much I love Lauren, and this is just a little blurb. Praise Lauren!!
