(no subject)
Have about a page left of my paper that's due at five, and I haven't started my paper that's due tomorrow. Have a ton of Latin too, and she's beginning to get pissed off. I think I screwed myself over so badly that I'm not going to be able to fix it.
Veronica Mars is moving to Wednesdays at 9/8c. This means it will be at the same time as Lost next season, because Lost is being moved to that slot and Alias is going to Thursdays. THIS SUCKS ASS. Veronica Mars is going to go up against LOST. LOST. For the LOVE OF GOD. Why do stations do this? They have a show that will potentially bring in a massive audience if you JUST GIVE THEM A GOOD SPOT. But no, you put them up against the shows with the biggest audiences and then you wonder why the ratings aren't as high? They're hoping that with the lead-in from Top Model, there will be a larger audience drawn to it. NO. Sorry. People who are going to watch Top Model are less likely to like Veronica Mars. There are more Veronica Mars AND Lost fans than Veronica Mars AND Top Model fans. That's just obvious based on genre. YOU'RE DUMB UPN. God. They did this to my other shows too and I'm angry.
BUT! From yesterday's Alias, I bring you some of the best lines ever.
In a bar, Sydney and Vaughn have to act like a rough couple
Sydney: Do you want to be the rough one, or should I?
Vaughn: You're always the rough one.
Sydney: I am not!
Vaughn: *smiling* Yes you are.
Sydney: *looking indignant* Do you mean in the field or at home?
Vaughn: Both.
Sydney: *stares*
Vaughn: *laughs* I'm not complaining.
Sydney: .. oh my God, are we on coms?
Sydney's dad: YES YOU ARE BOTH ON COMS.
Sydney (dressed in a white fur coat, acting like an upper class snob): (to the jewelry store manager) Do not touch the fur. *pause* Okay, you may touch the fur. (manager goes to touch the fur) Once. (picks out an ankle bracelet, sits down, extends foot) Put. (Sydney flirts with the target and asking what looks better, on her ankle or on her wrist. The guy says that he'd have to see it on her wrist. She points to her foot.) Do.
Okay, so that one was MUCH more about the acting and the accent than the words. But oh man, it was hilarious. Sameera and Yooney and I were saying it over and over again and dying of laughter.
That was pretty much the best part of the show.
