i had an idea, and it was a name that goes with somniferous. i chose two final names, Somniferous Petrifaction, and Somniferous Oblivion. The names make sense, and you can go find out on your own time. somniferous oblivion, or petrifaction, depending on which i choose, is to be a state of mind. not something that reflects me. its a name based off of the music I created. being in a metal band isnt about having a goofy name that makes no sense, that's what grind is about ( ... )

Also, define a real metal band to me, because im not sure if the bands im in right now are serious.

I'd say something like Decapitated or Cannibal Corpse, just as a quick example. Their lyrics are always serious, their music is always serious. Something that Tool is always saying is, "We take our work very seriously, but we don't take ourselves seriously." Thinking about it, I'm sure that's what you're doing. I'll keep that in mind.
