Well, crap... I'm totally at a loss... Jenn (shalanar) bugged me to post but I really have nothing to say. um, work, blah, home, blah, sleep, blah, hang out at the bar, blah, paying bills... blah. Yep, pretty much the same shit every day, and the banal minutiae that comes with it... Music! Yes, music! I can talk about that.
Awaiting Ozzfest tickets to become available. Hey, you can't beat the price (free). Nile, Behemoth, Hatebreed and Lamb of God should all be good. I've heard some pretty good things about Chthonic and Daath. Plus, it beats sitting at home watching the same old Law and Order reruns all day.
Slayer's coming to town August 21 with Marilyn Manson... interesting pairing. I really dig Manson's new album though, this show should be pretty good.
New Avenged Sevenfold DVD July 17... I'll check it out. Looks like the typical concert footage + backstage shenanigans type stuff you see in most bands' DVDs.
Albums on my to-buy list: Akercocke: Antichrist, Pro-Pain: Age of Tyranny- The Tenth Crusade, Scarve: The Undercurrent, Type O Negative: Dead Again, Vital Remains: Icons of Evil, Mago de Oz: Gaia II- La Voz Dormida (been meaning to get this for a while), Nine Inch Nals: Year Zero, Samael: Solar Soul (not sure if it's out yet, but me wanty), Devin Townsend: Ziltoid the Omniscient, Blood Duster: Lyden Na (The Now Sound), My Bloody Valentine: Loveless, The Chasm: Deathcult For Eternity, and anything by From Ashes Rise. That's it for now I think. I'll probably think about at least ten other albums after I post this, but will be too lazy and indifferent to bother editing.
Trying to get Ozzfest tickets is a total clusterfuck... I knew it would be... now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to beat a small child to death out of pure frustration, and pretend that it's Sharon Osbourne.
