and what I mean from my previous post is that most comedic films are shit.

I think the thing is that most comedies are unoriginal, and it's the same thing over and over again. The same jokes and situations get old after awhile. And romantic comedies are ten times as bad.

Then again, you could call me a hypocrite for being an action movie guy, but explosions and gunfights with little backstory have a longer appeal to me than an overused joke.
