Change in Posting Status
It has been brought to my attention this morning that one of my posts from this past week was put on Google Alerts. I don't want my posts going out to Google Alerts or anywhere else for that matter. So, because of this I have decided to flock all of my postings from here on out. There may and will be some postings that I will unlock to all users, but because of this I am now going to Friends only postings.
This posting is unlocked because I have some friends out there that I have not friended back. While I have never heard from any of you in comments, I don't want to exclude you from my postings if you are interested and wanting to still see my posts. Thus, why I have unlocked this post. If those friends would like to continue reading my posts, please either PM me or make a comment here in this posting and I will friend you back so that you can continue to read my posts. Otherwise, you will be excluded from here on out in reading my posts.
I am ambivalent about doing this because I have gained several friends because my posts were unlocked and they were able to read my journal and want to be friends, but yet, I don't want my posts going out to the general public either, and I don't want to have to censure my titles or my posts because something MIGHT be picked up by something like Google Alerts. So I do this with mixed feelings. But the internet is a big wide world out there and I would prefer my LJ to not be as big of a part of that big wide world.
