Blah
So I think I might be coming down with something. I've been getting the chills and I've been cold when I'm wearing both my hooded sweartshirt and jacket. My hands are ice cold (but what's new). Stupid change in weather.
Yesterday I went to Maggie's house after school. She dropped Phil off then Maggie, Jessica, Hannah, and I went to Aldi's and Jewel. I bought a few things at Aldi's for my mom and walking through Jewel was fun. After that we went back to Maggie's house and just hung out. Maggie was doing her homework while I looked online for futon mattresses and researched what I'm gonna do for my History paper. Then I went with my Aunt Sandy to her work and my mom met us there, and we just hung out and talked. I wasn't feeling too good. I was starting to get a headache and I felt hot. So after my mom ate, we decided to go to my Aunt Margaret's house.
My Aunt Margaret was happy to see us. She said we are the only ones that ever visit her. Anyways, we were talking about Germany (because she was born there and lived there during WWII) and she showed me pictures of when she went back to Germany in 1997 and took pictures of this concentration camp (which she use to pass everyday when she was younger and pick flowers by. She had NO CLUE it was a concentration camp until she came to the United States). I got chills when I saw it. It just gives me a very errie feeling. Anyways, after she showed me pictures of that, she was showing me pictures from her trip to AZ and she gave me a vase she made, a figurine of a nun, and a Berlin shot glass from like 20+ years ago. She told me to take good care of the shotglass. I asked her if she had any old pictures of herself, and she said that her daughter had them but when she gets them back, she will give me pictures that she doesn't want.
When my mom and I got home, we went online to search for some more futon mattresses. (I'm looking to re-do my room). After that she told me to go on orbitz.com and check the prices for tickets to Las Vegas for my 21st birthday. It was only $193.00 per person, round trip, which is not bad at all. If we go (which I'm not sure if we are or not), we will be leaving on my birthday (the 27th) and coming back around the 30th. So we will see what happens. It would be awesome to go because I have always said that I wanted to go to Vegas for my 21st....
