GenCon
So, this year mrsmetallian's field research schedule is shifted earlier than usual, while Origins is shifted later than usual. Therefore, we will be going to GenCon instead.
Who else is going?
We haven't been to GenCon since it left Milwaukee (before we moved here, o cruel fate) and moved to Indianapolis. Any advice? Recommendations? Are we better off snagging a hotel room for ourselves now, or waiting for the room draw to get the convention rate? There's a Marriott a block or two away that isn't too expensive...or is staying in a hotel connected to the convention center such a big advantage that we should go for it?
