I won't always love what I'll never have / I won't always live in my regrets

My birthday is officially over now. The day before, I was really dreading it. I don't exactly know why though. I just thought it would be depressing and wasn't looking forward to being another year older. However, the day actually turned out pretty well. My mom was really nice to me and tried to make sure that I had a nice day.

This afternoon we bought an ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins. I love ice cream and I love cake, so when the two are mixed together, it's crazy delicious. I haven't had an ice cream cake since my 18th birthday. It was weird to actually be home for this birthday because I've been at school for the last four. Anywho, after we got the cake, we picked up my sister and went shopping. My mom bought me some shirts from Old Navy and then a really nice jacket from Kohls. For dinner we ordered Chinese, and then there was ice cream cake for dessert.

I feel kind of bad because my aunt Kathy called to wish me a happy birthday, but I didn't want to talk to her. I'm a little obsessed with TV, and I can't help that Thursday is crazy TV night. I ended up missing the last five minutes of The Office and like 15 minutes of The O.C.. I couldn't tape them because I was already taping Ugly Betty and Scrubs. Oh well...there's more to life than television.

I almost forgot - Happy Groundhog Day! That little critter better not see his/her shadow.

birthday, shopping, chinese food, tv, groundhog day, ice cream cake
