Did you get all of your junk outta my trunk?

The other day my mom asked my dad, "Did you get all of your junk outta my trunk?" I was the only one who laughed. She wasn't trying to make a joke though. It was a serious question about the trunk of her car. It's too bad no one else thought it was funny.

I really did not want to come to work today. I wish I got Columbus Day off. I woke up this morning, and I was so comfortable and it was so dark and I was so tired. It was hard to get out of bed and get going. I considered taking the day off or calling in sick, but we're really busy right now, and I have a ton of stuff to do. I got a lot accomplished this morning, so it's nice to eat lunch and relax for a bit. The rest of the week is going to be busy too, but I just keep thinking about the Rufus Wainwright concert on Friday. I'll make it to the end of the week eventually.

I spent the majority of the day Saturday on the couch. I've been recording a ton of TV shows on the DVR, so I basically spent the whole day watching TV trying to catch up with everything. I did a good job because I almost watched everything on there. Saturday wasn't a completely lazy day because I did manage to get some work done too. But I did do that in front of the TV. I really should drop some shows, but I can't decide which ones.

Yesterday I went over to my aunt and uncle's house. I debated for a while whether or not to go because I figured it would be boring. Since I didn't leave the house at all on Saturday, I figured I should just go to get out. I ended up being right - it was boring. I brought a book with me (The Road), so I managed to get a good chunk of that read while people were watching Spider Man 2 on TV. It seems like whenever we go over there, they randomly pick a movie on cable and put it on. Half the people watch while the other half try to find something better to do. I wish I would have spent some time outside because it was so nice out. It made it up into the low 80s, and I wore capris, which felt really weird to do in October. My mom and my aunt asked us to play tennis with them, but no one else wanted to go, so they went by themselves. Every time we go over there, they are always so excited to play tennis, but it's not very fun because we all suck. At least when it gets colder out, they won't be able to ask us.

Even though it was hot out, I decided to drink hot chocolate yesterday. My mom stopped at Starbucks before we arrived at my aunt and uncle's house. My sister and I spotted a sign for their new flavors of hot chocolate and decided to go for it. We shared their Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate. Damn, it was sooo good. I burned my tongue, but it was so worth it. Mmm, I could go for a nice, tasty cup right now.
