It happens to everyone, not just babies. It will happen to you too someday.
-I was a big doofus this morning. There's a RD meeting at work tonight, and we are low on pop, so I stopped at Jewel to buy some. When I got to work, I was feeling lazy and didn't want to have to make two trips, so I decided I would haul everything up at once. Mistake. I had my big ass purse on my right shoulder, a large pile of mail under my right armpit, a 12 pack of sprite in my right hand and a 24 pack of diet coke in my left. As I was walking in the parking lot, things were okay and I was only worried about dropping the mail. When I was walking up the steps to get into the building, I dropped the sprite. It really wasn't my fault. The stupid box ripped, and I was left holding a chunk of cardboard while cans of sprite scattered everywhere. I managed to fit all but one back in the box. There was one special can that rolled down the stairs and exploded.
But of course, there were people there to witness my dumbass moment. There was a younger guy who grabbed the exploded can (I guess he was going to throw it away. Then I felt guilty because I was just going to leave it in the parking lot, which is littering). He also opened the first door for me, and then an older man came out of nowhere and opened the second door for me. Surprise, surprise, they also went in the elevator with me and rode up to the third floor. I wouldn't really care about this if no one had seen me, but since at least two people did, I feel stupid. I really should have made two trips.
-It feels like Wednesday to me. It should probably feel like Monday since we had a nice three day weekend, but it seems like I've already had a long week. Yesterday was really nice. I think it got up to 80 degrees. Today's high - 54 degrees. Seriously? This weather sucks. I didn't even spend the day outside because I decided to go shopping. I feel bad because I ended up spending almost $80 on makeup. I use Bare Escentuals and that shit is expensive. At least it is good quality makeup and lasts forever. I haven't bought makeup in a while, and it will probably be a long time before I have to buy any more, so I guess it's not too bad. I also bought some clothes, but they were all on sale, so I got some good deals. I learned that shorts are not for me. I tried on a couple of pairs of bermuda shorts, but I thought I looked stupid. I guess I'll be sticking to capris and skirts this summer (if it ever warms up).
-I watched Lars and the Real Girl and Margot at the Wedding over the weekend. I really liked Lars. It was sad and sweet. Margot was odd. It's one of those movies where the characters are not very likeable and you feel uncomfortable watching. It was better than I expected, but I still didn't like it that much.
