RATTIES!!!

I never had pet rats myself, but a number of my friends did, so I have done my time with a rattie snuggled in my cleavage, and I think they're adorable. I was so furious when my baby boy Toby killed a wild rat and brought it inside the other day.

They are adorable, yeah. The girls are more fun to watch as they run around, but if you want someone who'll sit right next to your thigh and want petted, gotta have a boy. Max was the only one who boogled with any consistency, as he was the only one who'd hold still long enough for proper scritches. The girls were all "Lick, lick, lick, now put me down."

Well, now *I* miss all our ratties . . .

Only one correction. Holly was an impulse buy after we lost Lily, who was a bigger rat that looked a lot as Holly looked.
