We Kicked Ass, then Stomped that Ass and Ground it into a Powder with Medicinal Properties

Travis Campbell's Night of Laughs was easily one of... if not THE BEST... show I've ever done.  I well and truly apologize for all of you who have seen my sub-par shows in the past (the recent and distant) and that you could not have been here for this show.

It was taped.  Unfortunately, the tape cut out halfway through my show.  But that's okay.  The show wasn't perfect.  For instance, the music was too loud at one point, and I could have picked a stronger closer.  Still, a damn good show that I am damn proud of.

Couldn't have done it without Travis, obviously, for setting the shit up, getting our names in the paper, and rustling up a fine crowd for comedy.  I'd like to thank Travis, Aaron Martin and Mike Kane for working that audience like a part-time job and getting them amped for me.  Seriously, I cannot wait to work with these guys again.  They're amazing.  ASK ME FOR DETAILS ABOUT THEIR WEBSITES AND MYSPACE PAGES.  You won't be disappointed.  I'd also like to thank Meghan Dornbrock for the DVD assist and for the encouragement and for telling me that it's okay to go into rants.  Meghan, I honestly can't thank you enough for all the support and I hope that some day I can help you out as much as you've helped me.

Thanks also to Bill and Jamie and Kevin for their constant inspiration, advice and support.  Thanks to Mike Kane (though I don't think he'll ever read this, I'm thanking him anyway) for getting me back into comedy and for being an awesome sounding board.

Nights like tonight are why I got into comedy.  By the way, the owner wants me to feature there this weekend.  I told him "yes."  And I can do it, but it's going to be a pain in the ass when I have to work the graveyard shift this weekend.

I'm going to go pass out.  Night.
