vacation...all i ever wanted......
so we are officially back from vacation, i had my first day back at work today, and it actually didn't go to badly, i think prolly cause i only had to do ny camping. hmmmm where to begin...we drove to TN starting last friday thru a bunch a thunderstorms but we made it and got there at like 1pm there time, my parents friends were there and it was nice to see them. then we went to bed woke up for a min and went to bed again. then on sunday we went to my sister's house and i saw my neices for the first time in like 3-4 years..holy crap it was weird, the oldest is gonna 15 i'm getting old. i think they liked chris a lot which makes me happy. then the next few days after that my parents just showed us around their new town. it's really nice. their new house is wicked awesome. we went to this record store and the owner was this former wresling dude who had been inducted into the hall of fame which is in schenectady and we're like hey were from saratoga and he was like that's where i had my first match ever in like 1950, and he signed a newspaper he was in to chris, we got some good records for him too. it was so humid down there we stayed inside during the hottest parts of the day mostly. and my parents don't really like to be out after dark so that kinda put a damper on the va-k but the biggest downer was...yup you guest jean-o. she went every place we went, followed chris and i around stores and bitched bitched bitched all along the way. not to mention she's up my dad's ass all the time and acts like she's married to him. but we did some other neato stuff, we went to nashville on thursday and went to the only full size replica of the parthenon it had a huge fucking statue of athena in it. it totally rocked except there were a bunch of old people getting a tour who wouldn't stop staring at me...oh you never saw someone with there lip pierced old man....get the fuck over it...then we went to the Ryman Auditorium for a tour, they had the Opry there back in the day, it had been an old church and they still use the pews for the seats, they also had some country memorabilla there that was interesting. and we found out the Pixies were gonna be playing there in Oct..which is cool and i wish i could go but it was like during the middle of the week and blahdiy blah, then we went downtown in nashville and went to a record store and saw john mayer there, it was random, not that i like him or anything but it's cool that we saw him i guess. so then we left that next friday and came home for a day cause christopher had to work, then on sunday we went to the RNC protest in NYC which for the most part was awesome i just felt sick the whole time from not sleeping and the heat was ridiculous, i think i got sunburn. being in nyc makes me sad and happy all at once, i love it and i want to go back but blahhhhh the biggest blah. anyway we made it home in one peace saw, kenton randomly in the middle of thousands of ppl, and donna and her peeps for OR. and now back to the working week..yippiidy fucking dooooooooooo.
