Hey Nate-Nate. I feel I've lost more than I've gained about my being-in-florida- situation. But I feel I've gained more than I've lost in my i-love-joey situation. and somehow, the two run together. I know, though, that once I get through this slow moving confusion, I'll be right back in GA with you and everyone else I care about. Then from there, I will set things in place to where my life will begin to look up. Every bad time is just a phase. Just something to get through to make life happier. Sometimes us humans get happy and stay happy for so long that we begin to not appreciate it. So God gives us something we don't like to get through so that when we're done fighting the situation, we learn to appreciate everything again. It's a cycle - just like rain. Good weather --> Evaporation --> Clouds --> Rain --> Good weather. (Happy times --> losing appreciation --> Tough situation arises --> Fighting through tough situation --> Happy times)
There are so many stories in the bible that seem not to be relevant to the situation. But when you read between the lines, you realize it's a metaphor used to teach you a lesson. I like to believe that's why God made rain a cycle... it's a metaphor describing life on Earth.
