Been awhile since I wrote anything.
So this summer has been going really well. I've been working over at Bellevue Park for the maintenence staff doing bitch work basically. Mowing grass, string trimming, weeding, etc. The pay is a little less than what I made at Best Buy last summer, but I work 40 hours per week, so I end up making a little over $1000 per month. Which is nice because with the money I've saved from last summer plus graduation and work, I'll have a good amount of moolah for College (*cough* drinking *cough*).
And I got a computer all to myself. I got a brand new Dell Laptop for a graduation gift. I got a good deal of money to spend on it, so I got it decked out with some nice features. I love having my own computer.
Also, I got my IB scores back the other day. I got my diploma and everything. I checked Northeastern's site to see how many credits I could get for my scores. In total, I get 8 credits for my English test, 8 for my History test, and 10 for Bio. So I'm getting 26 college credits. Basically, it's about a quarter short of a full year of credits. It means I don't have to take my English requirement either. Which is good, because it is a writing class, and that is the last thing that I want to do. So what that means is that I could graduate in 4 years instead of 5, or I can more easily do their accelerated Master's-Bachelor's Program, so when I get out of college, I will have two degrees. Sweeeeet. For as much as I hated IB, it really has paid off. I'm skipping a year of school basically because I can get English and History requirements out of the way. I look back on it too, and IB really wasn't that bad. For anyone out there that actually reads this who is in the IB program, work hard Junior and Senior year. It may seem like a bitch, but you'll be so happy when you find you can basically graduate from college a year early.
And things with Katie have been going really well. I like her alot, and I'm sad that this summer is starting to end. I barely get to see her because she is down at Summer College, so I see her maybe once a week. But we decided to keep the door open to our relationship. I just hope things will go smoothly with going off to school and everything.
