Warping Update
OHHHHHHHHH WEEEEE OHHHHHHHHH I GOTTA GET OUTTA HERE!
Thats what i was basically telling myself at the concert. I liked some of the bands that played, but most of the bands were all the same...like literally same exact style. Fall out Boy, Relient K, Senses Fail....they ALL sound a like....and there was NO style to the bands whatsoever. Just get up there, go WAH WAH ABOUT A GIRL, then get off in 9 2.5 min songs. It was ridiculous. I thought Hawthorne Heights was gonna be decent, but nope, one hit wonders w/ OHIO IS FOR LOVERS. I mean, i listened, and all their other songs sounded identical. This whole Pop Punk phase has GOT to stop, and I KNOW I'm upsetting a lot of people by saying their favorite teeny bopper punk cradle band SUCKS. But here are the few break through bands of the concert that were actually away from the pack of Parents holdin arms of 9 yr olds sporting RELIENT K an FALL OUT BOY. My Chemical Romance....I didnt see them, they were too late an it was about to pour, so we headed out, but of course, they're at least already different an unique. The Offspring....alternative Gods, not one other band played their style. Atreyu...many hate them, but they know how to fucking rock, amazing. I know im being bias, but i just fucking LOVE AVENGED SEVENFOLD. They were fucking amazing. NOT ONE OTHER BAND played ANYWHERE close to their talent range....Synyster Gates is just one mother fuckin amazing guitarist....like whoah....the crowd normally dispersed after each set of other bands an wandered around, but people were lining up during Senses Fail to see these guys...they didnt let me down at least...fuckin bad ass stage design too...raises an everything for Gates/Vengeance to get up on an do their shitz....During their 45 min set, there was more talent on that stage then the rest of the Tour. It was amazing, guitar solo's, The Reverand was insane on drums, INSANE, just omg. Pictures from this performance will be up VERY shortly, so stoked to get those printed :).
Yea, so my sister got a headache 3 min into the concert practically, an was waiting for me just to see A7x before we could leave, an she goes "I COULD TELL THAT WAS YOUR BAND, HE WAS WHINING LIKE A BITCH". Talking about Matt Shadows...mr. 20th Century Bruce Dickinson/Axl Rose...was 'whiny'...he was screaming his lungs out....his voice is just mezmerizing...PLUS, that comment coming from OMG! I LOVE POP PUNK! I LOVE BANDS THAT WHINE AN CRY AN SOUND LIKE THE BEEGEES W/ THEIR BALLS IN A CLAMP CRYING ABOUT HEARTBREAK, but yea....He's whining.
Well thats about it! I'm still waiting on plans to be fuckin determined by Mike an Deidre about tomorrow....god forbid they actually listen when i say I NEED TO KNOW WHATS GOING ON BY A CERTAIN TIME...an that time came an went....I'll update later w/ pics, enjoy.
