Anniversary :)
Hiya!
On Saturday it was actually my 4 year anniversary in this country!! It feels weird just to think about it... I mean I haven't really hung out with Rob in 4 years... that's what it means to me right now. bah, I'm done whining.
I got comment notification from my fotolog yesterday and I read the comment in CSAN, and that was a baaaad idea... I thought I was gonna cry reading it... I felt soo bad for thinking that Vitor probably had forgotten all about me... I mean not that I think he's that kind of guy, he's amazing, but distance tends to screw things up quite a bit... anyway it was sooo great to hear from him and I was so glad he proved me wrong :)
lol I know Alma I do need to take a picture of that dress but I'm being lazy :P
hehe I'm so spoilled. Melanie gave me a whole bag of french candy, damn that was good!! I miss it soooo much! I'll buy her tons of junk when I go back to France this winter!!
Anyway I need to stop talking about stuff that no one cares about. Here's the real purpose of this:
Today is the day after Monday. Monday is Album of the Week day (and I didn't feel like posting yesterday, so live with it).
Wintersun - Jari Mäenpää
Wonderful start for the young epic death band, Wintersun was voted "most promising band of 2004" on MetalStorm. They have a wonderful sound and the few songs I heard from their demo kicked ass! It's not power-ish to the point where only power fans like them, but it's not brutal death either :P Wintersun has found a great balance and is doing amasingly well give that they have only recorded one demo so far. I wish them luck in the future and am dying for some of their new work (and being able to buy their CD :P).
