Wow, it's been a long time since I updated this!
Ok, a lot has changed in my life. Firstly, I'm not longer with Tasha and after a lot of incidents that I'm not going to go into I'm not talking to her either. If you need to know why you'll already know. For anyone who's only heard Tasha's side of things, the truth is very different.
I'm now seeing a lovely woman called Kerry who lives in Chatham. She's very much like a female version of me personality wise. I've known her a while, but we've only been going out around a month now I think. She's also the only woman I've ever gone out with who's more than a few months older than me. Most of my girlfriends have been a lot younger than me, Kerry's over 5 years older than me!
Dad has got over his health problems and is fighting fit again. Unfortunately the company he worked for was taken over and he was amoung the redundencies. Not a good position to be in when getting over a major operation a few weeks before Christmas! He did some self imployed consultancy for a while, but he's now managed to get himself a very nice job. He's being imployed by a large multi-national company to set up and run a UK side of the business. Hopefully this will work out and keep him going until he retires in about 5 years.
Lastly, the most recent development in my life. After 2.5 years of hard work I quit my band last week. It just seemed that the singer and myself were the only one's with any real drive and determination to get things done. There were lots of good ideas, but noone else ever did anything about them. I just got fed up of the apathy, evident in the fact that we still haven't recorded a demo dispite starting it in November. So, I decided enough was enough and quit. The singer has done the same. I wish the rest of them every luck for the future, but now I'm looking to new projects.
I want to form an aggressive industrial metal band, but one with cool solo's. I suppose a bit like an industrial version of Chimaira or Arch Enemy. Lots of influence from Fear Factory, Strapping Young Lad, Rammstien, Interlock and Kill II This. So, if anybody knows anyone looking for a project like this, let me know. I want people who are dedicated, motivated and talented. Own gear and transport essential.
I'm looking for a lead guitarist (must play 7 string guitars), bassist, drummer, synths/samples and vocals. Singer/bassist or singer/guitarist even better! People with "I am God, so everyone elses ideas are crap" egos need not apply.
