APOD!

Jan 25, 2007 15:29

The other day I was browsing through NASA's APOD archive, and I was disappointed that they didn't have an RSS feed of the most recent images. So, with the help of XML::RSS::SimpleGen, I cooked up a script to fetch the APOD archive listing and generate an RSS file with the most recent 12 pictures. And if I got things right on the USC server end, it should automatically run once a day, in the wee hours of the morning, to catch that day's picture.

The feed is located at http://scf.usc.edu/~eichman/apod.rss.
