(no subject)
So, Ashley came over and had pre christmas dinner with the family yesterday. My brother's gf and her mother came over as well. good times. Im surprised at how well she kinda adjusted. Shes been down a few times, spent the nite on more than a few occasions, but actually dealing with my parents is something all together different. So yeah, that went well, i was spared all the embarrassing stories about my youth, though my father and brother were not, so we all had a good chuckle.
Then after dinner we played cranium... by that point my mother had had a little too much too drink, and ended up crashing... on the table... lol
my dad was the more sober one for once. and my brother's gf's mother downed a whole bottle of wine, so all were content.
ashley doesnt drink as much as the rest of us, but apparently her family is the same as mine, in a wierd kinda way. both her parents and sister drink and they seem to be the same type of people that my parents are, only with more money living in alberta.
but either way, its nice to have someone to hold at this time of the year.
