workin on a date
just got off the phone with marlo. chatted for a few minutes, figured out what her work schedule is like, what her school schedule is like, and i think we are either gonna head out on sunday or wednesday.
i would almost prefer wednesday because the weather is supposed to be better that day, and im plannin on coffee and a jaunt through assinnaboine park. then if things go well, invite her back to my place to chill, maybe order something in, watch a movie or just kinda wing it from there.
its funny cuz i barely know her, but i have no problem keepin a decent conversation flowing. normally im tongue tied and kinda out to left field when talkin to women.
so yeah this should be good. if not, meh, could always call ashley, but i dont see that goin very far.
so today was one of my days off, and i officially started packing today. got all my books movies and video games packed up, all of my non essential airsoft equipment, and all of my filing. im kinda concerned as to what im gonna do with my dishes. im sure they will get broken on the ride back to my place. gotta find a safe way to get those home.
my tv stand looks empty. the only thing on it is the tv and the xbox. no movies, no games, just the two. usually its lookin like a gong show.
my bedroom is even emptier than it normally is. the tv stand in there is barren of books and other stuff. my guns are set aside, im gonna go talk to ernie (neighbour of my parents) to see if i can borrow one of his airsoft gun cases to get my AK and my M-16 home. the pistol im prolly just gonna bring in my backpack.
the night stands im gonna transport as is, same with the bed. the ac me and jon are gonna bring over tomorrow. i still have to clear a lot of shit outta my room at my parents place. its not gonna be fun, but what can ya do. i wanna do away with that stupid TV stand they have up there, its fallin apart and has like two different sets of encyclopedias on it along with whatever else they have managed to stash in there. my parents are pack rats. i reorganized the storage room behind their bedroom the last time i was over, and it was fuckin retared the stuff they hang onto. i think i am gonna end up throwing most of the stuff in the third floor out. i also have to manage to get the closet back from my mom... thats gonna be an uphill battle.
but yeah, more on that as it happens.
oh hey anyone catch the throne speech? i was expecting it to be a little more controversial than that. i still hope an election is called, im sure that would result in a conservative majority. stephan dion is in the gutter as far as opinion polls go. hes like in the same position as bush is in the states, only for the opposite reasons. its great. and noone will ever listen to what jack layton has to say... that guy reminds me of an overactive chihauhau (sp?)
