Here we are again on a monday morning. I hate when I wake up absolutely convinced that it is Sunday. If it weren't for me girl, I would be so fired by now.......
The weekend was pretty good, made some decent money at my parents garage sale, went out to a decently cool place for dinner with friends, slept in til 1:30 on sunday, saw the new exorcist movie, had yummy breakfast tacos at mission burrito.....
"The grotto" is where we went for dinner. The food was good and the desserts were awesome. only complaint was that the food came way too fast.... Typically people complain of slow service, but really now, we had a good vibe going at the table, just hanging and talking, and the food came out 5 minutes after we ordered it. No risotto should take only 5 minutes to cook. But surprisingly, everything we ordered was good.
If you can pull yourself out of bed prior to noon on the weekend and live anywhere near montrose, you need to try mission burrito's breakfast. It is cheap and fantastic, we try to go every saturday. They do it like a build your own burrito place, you go down the line and tell them what you want in it. You should try the corn tortilla w/eggs, roaqsted red peppers, sprouts, tomato, onion, and cheese.....mmmmmmmmm.... They also have fajita beef, but you have to ask for it....
Only one class tonight, yay!!!
I am still surprised about last thursday. here is the story.... 2.5 weeks ago my govt. teacher assigned us a project "what govt. means to me"
it was to be a posterboard collage,(yes, very highschoolish for hcc but an easy grade ne'er the less). then, the following week when it was due, there was a note on the door saying that class was cancelled that evening. No big deal.... When we all came to class last thursday, we all had our little posters and sat in our teacherless class. About 5 minutes late, a new teacher came in and said he would be our teacher for the remainder of our class. Aparently our original teacher broke his arm and won't be coming back. He then said, as pertains to our poster project, that this isn't highschool thus he doesn't want our project.... He did suggest that we may be able to sell it to a highschool student tho'. Despite having a test almost every class w/him, I think I like this new teacher.... He has an abrasive yet honest sense of humor that I find amusing.... His rant on starbucks was especially funny.
we shall see how it goes........
I should probably get back to work now......
