OK so I got a couple small spots of poison ivy the other day this morning I woke up and my left leg was covered from foot to knee. Plus instead of itching it kinda hurt. So I put some stuff on it and that made it hurt a lot worse and turn red and swell a bit. So I washed the stuff off and was about to call my doctor. But wait it's Sunday god damn it!! So I went down to this walk in place in Vernon (one town over). I have gone there before and never had any problems. Plus they are open on weekends and way cheaper than walking into the hospital!!! I don't have medical insureance so that works for me!! Shorter wait too. So within my blob of poison ivy is my zombie tattoo. So I am waiting in the room forever then when the doctor comes in he is older than Jesus!! He looks at my leg and the first thing he says is "probably Hepatitis C from that tattoo there causing the poison Ivy too flare out of control like that!!" I was like WTF??? So I said "no I am positive you are wrong. If I got hep from any of my tattoo's it wouldn't be that one!!" So I argued with him for 15 minutes about the fact that I don't have Hep or the HIV. Then he told me to go buy some calamine lotion and call my regular doctor to make an appointment to get tested for Hepatitis, HIV, and various other things. I got super pissed off at that point and was like "You think I am gonna pay you to insult me and tell me to buy some calamine lotion you got another thing coming!!!!" He turned to me and said "Calm down it's not my fault you let people poke and prod at you with dirty needles and you won't admit you probably have Hepatitis C!!!" At that point I was about to knock him the fuck out. So I said "I am sooooo not paying for this bullshit!!!! In fact you will be hearing from my lawyer. You are the most unprofessional and rudest doctors I have ever dealt with!!!!" I was about to say more when the nurse walked in. Turns out she heard most of the last part of the conversation. She was like "what is your problem? Just right him a prescription or the poison ivy. It looks terrible and I have been watching it spread since he got here. You have no reason to think he has any of those things you were saying he has." He wrote out a prescription threw the pad at her and walked out. She apologized and said to expect a call from her boss about the situation. The thing is this is not the first time this has happened to me. Like a year and a half ago I was in the hospital for a week with extreme food poisoning and the doctor that was checking me out while waiting for my real doctor to get there pulled the same shit. She wanted them to run like $2000 worth of blood work because It might be from a lack of treatment of the hiv or hepatitis C not food poisoning. Lucky for me my doctor showed up while we were arguing about it and told her she was wrong and to drop it. If I had terrible prison ink It would be one thing but I don't. People are fucking morons!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! uggg!!!!!!!!!!!!!
