It rained AGAIN!!!
We just got back from 4 days of camping at Presqu-ile (1 hour from Kingston) and it rained AGAIN while we were there, just like last year, grrrr! Oh well, at least it was only for the last 2 days and not the entire duration of our trip. Good thing also that we had purchased a tent that is much more waterproof! Fun times as always though...except when Paul scared the shit out of me when he choked on his one tongue ring ball while talking to his brother then swallowed it when we were about to go to sleep the other night! Eep.
Yesterday we spent the day in Kingston, visiting Fort Henry and the Penetentiary Museum...which was really neat seeing all the weapons on display that the inmates used to escape or smuggle things in. There were many made out of toothbrushes and a vegetable can that had contained hashish!!! I quite enjoyed the idea of the stack of hollowed-out food trays that one inmate lost a bunch of weight to escape inside...then was unfortunately eventually caught again. Visited my best friend Sarah in Oshawa on the way back today for a couple minutes much to her surprise and saw her new baby, that was cool. Unfortunately there's a slow leak in my tire that I must get that fixed asap...but at least we made it back without incident!!!
Last weekend was fun, saw The Devil's Rejects on Friday night with Tara, Joey & James...then to Red Square both nights for more fun times and birthdays (I hadn't been there on a Friday in eons).
I'm on holidays now until Tuesday, and the agenda is as follows: Rumours tomorrow night, the Jaded festival at Polonia Park on Saturday afternoon to see Carli's band, then Rib Fest at Montebello Park for 3 days *drool* I'll probably try to go everyday it's on and eat as much meat & drink as much beer as I can!!! :P
Ok...now gotta go home to shower and get rid of this camping grit!!!
