Well that was easy. It makes me wonder if it was broken in the first place or I just imagined it. :P I just cleaned the lens and raised it, I don't know if I'm going to clean it now.
And I even did my homework!
Okay, I've tested a few of my games on it and oddly enough the only two that don't all-the-way work are DQ8 and the FFXII demo. I mean, it even runs ICO which is on one of the blue pre-DVD discs that are supposed to be most difficult to read from. It'll read DQ8 and load it but it never goes from the "PlayStation 2" logo to loading the actual game and with FFXII it'll load and just reset so I guess I have to go back in and adjust the laser. I don't really feel like doing it tonight so I'll do it Thursday probably.
I'll post up the picture of the open PS2 I took in case anyone is interested.
