For those who don't know what this is about, Amazon has stripped GLTB books - fiction, non-fiction, biographies, self help books - of sales rankings, and excluded them from front page searches. For more information start here, more links, a list of affected books, and a petition against this blatantly homophobic crap.
In consideration of our entire customer base, we exclude “adult” material from appearing in some searches and best seller lists. Since these lists are generated using sales ranks, adult materials must also be excluded from that feature.
Really? So when typing in Chatterley on Amazon's front page, should I be expecting the first item on the list to be a porno (Young Lady Chatterley)? Because that's exactly what happened. Oh, of course it's a het porno and not that horribly offensive gay stuff. FUCK. OFF.
