Supernatural - No Rest for the Wicked.
I cheated and only watched the last two scenes. I'll save the rest for when I watch the previous episodes.
My thoughts
Dean's speech - Oh, Dean. 'Take care of my wheels.' Such a Dean way of saying 'I love you, bro'.
While not as gory as what I thought it would be from the reports I read, Dean's death was quite spectacular. Although all of you who suggested it was Hellraiser-esque, I didn't get that at all. I was expecting the hooks to fly in from hell and rip Dean apart as he was dragged back down. If anything, Dean strung up like that put me more in mind of Lexx, particularly the Fire planet arc.
I know there are theories Sam put a whammy on Lillith , and that's why she lost her power. I think it has more to do with Dean's bargain, the words he chose about his life for Sam's, and that's why her attempt to kill Sam failed. I'm probably wrong, but for now, that's my theory.
And I still still think JP looks fake when he cries. Yes, he's not pretty about it, which is something I usually like. But for some reason I can see him trying, rather than watching Sam cry. I do give him points for getting the chin wobble cry action going.
All in all, it's a cliffhanger, but nowhere nearly as powerful as when the truck hit the impala.
