OHHHHHH SHIT!
This is so rad I can't even believe it. You know those movies? The one's you saw when you were really young? When the babysitter let you stay up late and watch TV? The one's that stuck with you forever and you never forgot? Every once in a while they show up throughout your life and when they do it is so rad?
Well this movie is one of them for me "The Warriors"

The warriors is about a gang that gets framed for murdering this gang leader. This gangleader was trying to unite all the gangs. He was like the MLK of gang guys. The warriors spend the whole night trying to get home. I think home is coney island and they run and fight all these crazy gangs. T-Bird from the movie the crow plays the bad guy. There is this part at the end of the movie where he puts empty beer bottle on his fingers and starts clinking them together and saying...Warriors, come out and play! and he does that over and over and louder and louder. It was rad. So rad that twisted sister named their second album after the catch phrase and used it as an introduction.
I don't know what it was about this movie. I remember I thought all the different gangs were really cool and really distinct. The baseball furies were my favorite. They wore makeup that reminded me of Kiss. Of course the whole movie takes place in New York and is probably largely responsible for my fascination with the greatest city in the world. Anyway while visiting gawker this morning they had the best banner ad I had ever seen and I almost shit my pants.

Rock Star has made a video game based on the greatest movie ever! I can't even speak.
