(no subject)
So I downloaded Second Life yesterday.
The "game" itself is really hard to describe. It bores me on a level beyond my imaginings, but its hard to stop playing. The game is essentially just looking at things.
However, there is something so undeniably creepy about the whole game. Sex shops, bondage playgrounds, creepy houses people must have spent weeks and hundreds of dollars on, all so they could lay in a bed and have virtual sex. TV's that play real movies, so fake people can sit on a fake couch and watch the fake TV.
Me? I made a shiny sphere and called it my CyberCompanion, it does nothing but float above my head. I love it because its funny. Then I made my guy looks less homogay, and went to a Cyberpunk city and looked around. CyberCompanion was happy to guide me. Thats about it.
I wish I had a real floating sphere....
Also, I saw a Therin.
