silly little pretty things
This week: Finals upon finals upon finals. Five papers to finish by Wednesday. Finished one (Shakespeare's "King Lear" versus Kurosawa's "Ran," differing cultural interpretations) and was immediately smacked in the face by the rest of them. Still haven't heard from Sogang, but am three days away from the deadline to pay tuition from next semester.
Chinese grade is probably a C. If I turn in all of my homework it might become a C+. I'm prepared. Shakespeare I hope will be an A or a high B, depending on the paper I just turned in and how well I do or don't do on the final. Math will be an A, it has to be or I'll just jump out a window. Lit... I don't know. I think I've done well. Hopefully an A. I don't know about poetry. I've missed class and forgotten assignments... she could fail me on that alone. I've missed enough class to fail me, irrespective of missing work. I'm hoping she won't. If my grades are all as predicted above and I fail poetry, my semester GPA will still only be 2.86. Unacceptable; I'd have to transfer. Even if I only get a D in poetry, if I get all A's in lit, math and Shakespeare I will get a 3.2 GPA.
