Hello again!
Wow this is probably a record, updating my LJ twice in a day. What is the world coming to LMAO well anyway I saw Khalil (
demitour ) this afternoon, as well as her younger (?) sister Melissa and her mom. She's so cute ;__; Her entire family is so cute actually, orz. We met at Koreatown plaza and went to Do Dam for barbecue, my favorite place ♥ The ahjusshi and ahjumma who run it always remember who I am, and today the ahjusshi even let me take a little box of barbecue with me even though technically it's not allowed. He said "Just this once, because I like you." o////o He's such a cute guy omg lmao.
After that we went to The Grove, Melissa's request because I guess Eli from U-KISS had tweeted about being there previously. We didn't run into any famous Korean idols, but we did wander around pretty much the whole store, and Khalil got me a lemon meringue pie flavored lollipop, which was really delicious. We went into a lot of stores, like Victoria's Secret and Nike and the Apple store, and rode the trolley around the shopping area for a while XD And we ended by going to Zara, which I'd never been to before. It had mad swag though, I was impressed. Most of the stuff was way out of my price range, but I did get a perfume-Zara Crème, which is a nice light scent, not too flowery or fruity with just a hint of sugar. I usually actually like kind of fruity or spicy scents, but this one seemed like a better choice for a spring/summer fragrance.
Afterward I took Khalil and her family back to her hotel and then on my way home, I stopped at the cafe that Natalee (
blinghyunism ) and I always go to to get coffee and work on homework. I have the biggest crush on the guy who works there sometimes-he looks a lot like Kevin from U-KISS and he wears awesome hats and is generally just a really nice guy, but neither Natalee nor I had worked up the courage to talk to him beyond basic pleasantries. But today I finally bit the bullet and asked him what his name is (before, we'd just been calling him "Kevin oppa" because of his resemblance to Kevin, orz). It's Tony! So now he knows my name and I know his. :) ...Right before I go back to Oregon for the summer, fantastic. :|
But hey, a step in the right direction is a step in the right direction! I told my mom about him when I was home and she was like, "You know, in the real world, when a girl likes a boy she tries to get his number or something." I don't think she understands the extent of how not skinny and cute and Korean I am, but I guess it's better to try and fail than to never try at all! Right?
UMMMM wow this is probably the longest entry I've written in a long time! I feel pretty good now, since the stress of classes is off my shoulders. Having a summer job lined up is pretty great too, even though I start only one full day after I get back to Oregon (I get back on Saturday and I start work on Monday). Still! Money is money, and I'll need it for going to Korea in spring.
That's all folks n___n
