that night in max's bedroom, a forest grew.

Decided to start organizing my portable harddrive and moving things from my desktop onto Doojoon (my portable, lol, blame blinghyunism). I have a ton of photography that's just kind of floating around, music, videos, things like that and I'd like to have it all organized so I don't spend half an age looking for things every time I need to find it.

Watched Never Let Me Go last night,

I actually really enjoyed it. As I'm sure most of you know, it's based on the novel of the same name by British-Japanese author Kazuo Ishiguro, and it's sort of... I don't really know how to explain it. The premise is that scientists have discovered a way to cure all illness, but that way involves creating living people who then have their organs harvested and "donated" to those in need. So I guess it's a bit of an exploration of the ethics of that kind of thing. It stars Carey Mulligan, who I love beyond reason, as well as Keira Knightly and Andrew Garfield.

I think the thing that most impressed me was the cinematography. The movie is filmed almost entirely in a very bleak palette, muted greys and blues and greens and browns, but each shot is genuinely breathtaking. I loved that a lot about it.

Definitely a rec if you don't mind sad movies.

Besides that, got my time for housing selection (3:24, what an arbitrary and random time), and with the numbers that blinghyunism and I selected (270 and 474, respectively) I'm sure we'll be fine. I'm hoping to get a place in O'Malley but I'd be okay with Leavey too. Ahhh, so exciting!

Anyway I've an exam tomorrow that I need to study for so I guess I'll go do that, now that my pointless update of the week is done. n__nV peace out.
