life and other fairy tales

Hello LJ, long time no see!

Life... it carries on. Time passes at a velocity of 1s/s. Not a lot to report on this end; I spent spring break (ridiculously early this year) in San Jose with blinghyunism so I cold attend the Western Regional LGBTQIA Conference that was hosted at UC Berkeley. It was interesting. I like Berkeley as a town, it reminds me a little of southeast Portland... the conference was good. I got to see some friends I hadn't seen in a while, and attended some interesting workshops about DIY BDSM toys (lmao) and transgender issues and sex-positive discussion. I like LGBTQIA conferences. Everyone is always so open.

I don't know if I mentioned this on LJ or not, but my parents okayed my plan to spend Spring 2012 in Seoul. So now I have renewed purpose, which is nice-I have a concrete goal to which I need to push my life in terms of class attendance and money earning.

I got a card from imago today! It was so cute ;w; You're adorable Sumin also happy birthday!!

What else... nothing really important. I have a cookie sitting on top of my desk that my roommate gave me for my birthday... two weeks ago. Whoops. Also I'm watching I Saw the Devil and it's gory and not quite as well put-together as I was hoping it would be (I was anticipating something more along the lines of Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance but I'm a little disappointed so far). Choi Min-sik is good, though, and so is Lee Byunghun, even though he looks way younger in this movie than he did in IRIS. REVERSE AGING? Idk.

Tell me about your week, friendslist! Anything new and exciting in your lives?
