why can't you let it go?

Okay so this post is about the JYJ showcase last night.

First off, I have stanned DBSK for like four or five years now. I saw Changmin and Yunho at SM Town, and that was awesome, but then it was very evident that they were introducing themselves as DBSK but leaving room for the three members that were gone. And I was kind of wondering if JYJ was going to be the same way, that there would be a very obvious absence where Changmin and Yunho would have been.

And I'm not gonna lie, there were moments where it was obvious that there were members missing. But for the most part? Not really. JYJ are extremely talented individuals, each one of them, and they work together so well that their performance was basically flawless. Junsu had mic problems at some parts and it barely even registered, that's how strong his voice is and how professional he is. Jaejoong was losing his voice (or had lost his voice from a previous performance) and wasn't singing at the top of his game, but still managed to carry the performance with his amazing vocals. And Yoochun, oh god Yoochun I just love him so much, he is flawless stunning perfect etc.

They only sang six songs, iirc, and the performance was only an hour long, but I would gladly pay $200 for that experience again. It was stunning. I just can't get over how talented each one of them is, you know?

I think my favorite part (beside them singing "Empty") was the Q&A session. We didn't get to see Yoochun's tattoos, sadly, but they did talk about their twitter names and what they mean, and their cats/dogs, and about the Micky Christmas video, and about whether or not they plan to tour the US again. Yoochun's English is phenomenal! I mean I wasn't really surprised because he's from America, lol, but he was very coherent and only a few times struggled for words. Jaejoong's English could use some work, as could Junsu's, but they tried, and it was super adorable ;___; Junsu's especially.

Man I am turning into such a Junsu fangirl this is bad.

Anyway, basically it was incredible and worth everything. I had such a good time, and I'm looking forward to seeing more from them.

kpop is a lifestyle choice, famous people are awesome, music gives a soul to the universe, i love everyone
