First of all, this is what I'm listening to right now:

In case that widget doesn't work, here is a download link. It's the South African national anthem, off the Invictus soundtrack. I've developed this thing for African music lately. It's so weird.

Anyway, I've decided that it might be time for me to make a ~spiritual journey~ of sorts, or at least spend some time trying to figure out what I believe. I've never been a religious person-not including St. Mary's masses, I've been to church five times in my entire life-but that's not necessarily to say that I've never considered the existence of a higher power or whatever. I've always had a hard time explaining my religion/beliefs to people, which is why I usually default to "Jew-ish" (I was basically raised in a Jewish community), but that's not necessarily the most accurate description.

The point of all this: At Borders tonight I bought How to Practice: The Way to a Meaningful Life by His Holiness the Dalai Lama. I guess I'm starting my journey with Buddhism!

Sometime this week-maybe tomorrow-I'm going to sell my books to Powell's.

shut up no one cares, lollerskates, etcetera etcetera etfuckingcetera, what is this fuckery, my liiiiiife, blah blah blah
