I'm so glad that the
grammarpolice community exists. It's like my nitpickiness about grammar and punctuation, but magnified by six thousand and made into a community! And they know so much more than me :D Reading through it is like reading Strunk & White, only cooler because it's written by the internet.
Also makes me self-conscious about my word choice and punctuation usage. It seems like it'd be poor form to post to a Grammar Police community and use poor grammar or spell incorrectly.
Thankfully I think my grammar is pretty decent. Hopefully.
I sent a letter to the editor of Seventeen magazine. If you don't know what I'm talking about, visit
this article-- it explains it better than I could.
I slept through English this morning, in the sense that I just didn't even wake up. Rather, I did wake up, but only enough to turn off my alarm and go straight back to sleep. Bad plan? I think yes. I need to get out of the mindset that tells me skipping class is okay, because that's a recipe for failure and I refuse to do that. (On an unrelated note, my roommate has been blasting Taylor Swift for a good hour and a half, and it's beginning to grate on my nerves.)
