For some reason, I've been having a very difficult time writing lately.
Well, that's not true. I'm still writing, it's just taking me a lot longer than it normally does. And I think that might actually be a good thing-- if there was anything that the whole anon meme mess did for me, it was show me that I needed to slow down and really look at what I was writing (quality over quantity, you know). So that's what I've been doing lately, and I think it's turning out well.
I've only finished one fic since I've been at college, but there's another one that's .. well, 22 pages long (and a oneshot), but nearly done, and I hope to have that finished today. I think part of it is that I usually do my writing late at night when no one else is around, but now that I have a roommate I'm constantly distracted.
Also, that shipping meme I did a few days back made me realize: I don't think there will ever be a way that I won't ship Axel/Roxas. *brick'd* They were my first real ship, I think-- I mean, I'd sort of shipped from things like LoTR and Harry Potter, back in the days of my early teenagerhood, but Axel/Roxas was the first ship that I thought seriously about and wrote for more than once.
It's also the pairing that dominates a lot of my fic.
I GUESS THAT SAYS SOMETHING ABOUT ME BAHA. I am such a KH whore. It's funny, because I don't actually even really like the games that much in practice-- it's the theoretical stuff that I think is cool. And I do think the games would be incredibly boss if there was no Disney involved. KH - Disney = WIN.
In case you were wondering why that's related, the 22-page oneshot is Axel/Roxas AU. I hate my life.
Not really.
This is an extremely disjointed entry, and I've Philosophy class in thirty minutes, so perhaps I should go do something productive instead of rambling about nothing in my journal.
